The clouds appeared as snow.

The clouds appeared as snow.

These clouds looked so fluffy.

I took this picture because it looked like we were flying above land covered with snow.

This view fascinated me and I asked the flight attendant about it.

These, apparently, are irrigation systems for local agriculture.

The flight attendant seemed very disinterested about answering my question. I realized she had more important things to do like serve peanuts and soft drinks.

I had never seen anything like it and so OF COURSE I had to ask.

This scene caught my eye because of the beautiful contrast of dark and light.

As I wrote above I love the contrast of dark and light.  What caught my attention here were some of the interesting shapes. The other cool thing is that at least some of the dark shapes were shadows of the clouds above.

Here is the point in my blog where I can break into song and sing, “I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now…” but since I messed up the last time I tried to use a song I think I’ll leave it to Joni Mitchell.

Gratefulness Matters!

In the last picture, did you notice the side profile of a man’s face! He has a Jewish nose to be sure! I wonder who that could be???

      Hi Ruth Ann,
I didn’t notice anybody in the picture. I couldn’t figure out a way to take a picture through the window without getting a reflection. They were taken from the plane.

    Hi Cindi!

What a joy to sit next to you on the plane! Beautiful photos… I wish the captain would give a commentary over the intercom about what we’re flying over!

So good to meet you today!

    • Cindi says:

I enjoyed sitting next to you as well! We could have kept chatting, right?
I hope your trip has been great…I’m sure it has, spending time with that new baby!
Let’s stay in touch! Your business looks great, by the way!

I don’t remember ever seeing the shadows like that before, Maybe I just never paid attention before.
And, yes, I am having a great time.

I am always amazed at cloud formations.I don’t know if you knew, mom was always intrigued by the clouds, when she traveled, she would look at what the cloud formations would form in her eyes. Beautiful pics Cindi 🙂

Those clouds were pretty spectacular, Claire! One thing I know. Mom wasn’t viewing those clouds from an airplane!
      Love you!
