My iPhone is one of my favorite digital devices. I play a few games on it. When I am out and about I check my emails, use it for navigating and of course, talk on it. One of my favorite things about it, though, is that when I have it with me (almost always) I have a camera. I have never been a good photographer and the hooligans and MOMD have often remarked that they get whiplash watching videos that I have recorded.
They are such exaggerators. Really.
Back to the camera on my phone. I like having a camera with me because you just never know when you’ll come across something unique, beautiful, odd, interesting or something that just makes you stop in your tracks.
Just such a thing happened to me last week. I had driven by this particular item 4 or 5 times in a matter of 3 days. I walked right by it when entering the thrift store that was displaying it. Never noticed it. Until… That magic moment. It took me by surprise. (If a song started going through your head with those words then you are as old as dirt. Welcome to the club). I digress. I walked past this, stopped, looked and out came the iPhone to snap a picture.
Before I share the picture I want to tell you some of my immediate thoughts.
Where does one purchase this? I don’t even know if this one was for sale.
I tried to conjure up a mental picture of the original owner of the item and all I could really come up with was one of the Gabor sisters. As in Green Acres.
Next I wondered where one would place said item in one’s house and more importantly was there a mate?
I wonder if it could be ordered in a different size. Or color. So many options to worry about.
